Rental cabins in Rogaland and Agder

The Sandvassbu cabin is east of Sandvatn lake in Bykle and Njardarheim. The surroundings are characteristically flat, fine hiking terrain.

The Smalevassbu cabin is in fine hiking terrain to the northeast on the Svartevass reservoir, in Bykle and Njardarheim. The fastest way to get to the cabin is to use your own boat and walk about half an hour.

The Grautheller cabin is at the west end of Grauthellervatnet lake in Forsand and Njardarheim. It’s easily accessible in fine hiking terrain, by its rowboat or by walking half an hour.

The Tverrå cabin is in Forsand, northwest of the Svartevass reservoir dam in Njardarheim. Here there’s little vegetation and the terrain is good for hiking. Free net fishing in the Svartevass reservoir.

The Bossfjellhytta cabin is at the southwest end of Botsvatn lake, west of Roskreppfjorden in Sirdal and Njardarheim. The terrain is fine for hiking and it’s child-friendly, close to the road by boat, with a good bathing beach.

The Holmevasshytta cabin is the farthest northeast at Holmevatn lake in Sirdal and Njardarheim. Cabin rental includes a rowboat. The cabin is a good base for day tours to popular hike goals such as Kjerag and Lysebotn.

The Oselega cabin is on the southeast shore of Taumevatn lake in Sirdal, a couple of hours on foot from the carpark in summer. The cabin is in Njardarheim, which has fine, easy hiking.

Skjerevasshytta is the only Statskog cabin in Njardarheim that is on a road, the Brokke – Suleskar road in Sirdal. The cabin is a good base for day tours to Kjærag and Lysebotn.

The Taumevassletta cabin is older and comfortably located on a grassy flat at the north of Taumevatn lake, between the mouths of the rivers in Sirdal and Njardarheim. The terrain is good for hiking and there's free net fishing.

The Urddalsbu cabin is in fine hiking terrain at the foot of the Gråmannsfjellet massif, to the north in Roskreppfjorden in Sirdal. It’s a good starting point for hiking up to Urddalsknuten (1434 m.s.l.) the highest point in Vest-Agder, Njardarheim.

This cabin is a simple shelter practically located for fishing in Øyarvatn lake. In Njardarheim there’s fine hiking terrain and good hunting and fishing in mountains and lowlands.

The Hestebu cabin lies between Lille Botsvatn and Nytevatn lakes in Valle and Njardarheim. Here you’ll need your own boat and will need to walk for a few hours to get to the cabin from your car.

Skrubbsbu is a cabin located to the east on Roskreppfjorden, in Valle and Njardarheim. The cabin is on the Skrubbsåni river, in fine hiking terrain. In summer, it’s about a three hour hike on a marked trail in to the cabin, or faster with your own boat.

The Såvasshytta cabin is beautifully located at Såvatn lake in Valle, Njardarheim. The fastest way to get to the cabin is to use your own boat and walk about an hour.
