This is a pleasant cabin innermost in Kvænangsbotn on the Kvænangselva river. The cabin is in fine terrain for outdoor life and good hunting and fishing, including salmon fishing in the Kvænangselva river.
Details
The cabin has a living/family room with a kitchen corner, a dining area, two bunk beds, a sauna and a porch. It was one of the Kvænangen forest cabins built in the 1880s in connection with forestry and tar making.
Driving directions
Turn off the E6 highway at Sørstraumen and follow the Kvænansbotn signposts 24 km on the country road to Bjørknes. Then just before the bridge over Lvænangselva, take the private forest road to the right. The road is passable to a marked carpark. Then take the marked hiking trail about 3.5 km to the cabin.
