This is a cosy cabin in Beiarn. It’s a good base for family or group hikes, wild mushroom or berry plucking, fishing and hunting. The cabin is in the east bank of the Beiarelva river toward Tollåga.
Details
The cabin was built in 1975-76 as an accommodation for the employees of Salten Forest District, which had its office in Fauske but was responsible for 12-14 forest workers living in Beiarn. It was expanded in 1990, and is on its own access road, just 80 m from the main road.

The cabin is closed in winter, from November until Easter.
