360° panoramic view from the cabin
The Leina cabin is popular and of good standard, located at Leinavatn lake in Bardu, Inner Troms. It’s a wilderness cabin in a location attractive for outdoor life, hunting and fishing. Here’s a place to experience the wilderness in a comfortable way.
Details
The cabin is well located on the shore of Leinavatn lake, hardly one kilometre from Gjeddbukta and Altevatnet. The Ostojeaggi natural reserve is just east of the cabin. In winter you can follow the snowmobile fishing trail; the cabin is 1 km from the trail. Note that the cabin is available for advance booking only after the end of the penultimate week of the previous year.
Driving directions
From Setermoen and the E6 highway, it’s about 39 km on a road to a carpark at Altevatn lake. From the end of the road and the car park, it’s about 40 km to the cabin. In summer, it’s easiest to get to the cabin by boat. A conveyance boat can be rented. In winter, you can get to the cabin by dogsled or snowmobile.
